With increased awareness of your body in time and space\, comes increased self-confidence\, creativity\, and calm. During the workshop\, you will learn ways to control your breathing\, quiet your judgmental mind\, and regulate your stress level through simple movement exercises. Participants will be encouraged to find their own way of moving through investigation\, observation\, and PLAY. Activities include a dynamic\, low-intensity warm-up\, centering and stretching exercises\, a fun group dance experience\, and some guided improvisation. No previous dance experience necessary. All activities can be adapted for differently abled participants. \n\n\n\nParticipants should wear comfortable clothes they can move in\, with layers\, and bring a water bottle.
